Sleep deprivation can cause various kinds of psychological and physical distress. Symptoms will vary depending on how serious the sleep deprivation is and how well the person tolerates it. The first symptoms to appear are usually psychological.

  • Nausea, lack of appetite
  • Dizziness
  • Migraines
  • Feeling cold, sweating
  • Impaired reflexes
  • Vision blurred
  • Heart palpitations
  • Hormonal disturbances
